In case you were wondering …

I haven’t been around WordPress much lately.  December is always a very busy month for me. This year seems to have been more so than ever – work’s been insanely busy, social engagements squeezed into the little free time I have, preparing stands and presentations for  my community project at the Friends of the Community awards at work and wrapping up the project with the annual graduation.

This year, over 120 people aged between 12 and 60, completed assessments in Introduction to PC’s, MS Word and MS Excel.  Besides individuals, we included social workers and nurses from NGOs that cannot afford to send their staff for training and children that have been removed from abusive environments and placed in special, protective care.

So, in case you were wondering why I haven’t been dropping by your blog as much as I’d like, there are over 120 good reasons why.

    1. Now I’ve seen some silly blogs, even some really, ridiculous ones. Yours is not one of them 🙂 It is intelligent and always interesting. Thank you for the kind words 🙂

  1. There’s my bright, smiling Excel student! What a treat to see this photo. Thanks so much Jacquie for getting Mtuseni into the program — and for helping all these folks. Learning is always a good thing.

    1. I thought you might like that choice of photo! It has been a pleasure having Mtuseni in the program – in fact, you may recall that class came about because of him, and others have greatly benefitted.

  2. It is wonderful to read of your work, and I am sure that you enjoy it as much as your many students do. It is such work that gives us the strength to face the disappointments in life, and gives us hope for the future. Thank you so much, Jacquie!

  3. WONDERFUL! Thank you for visiting my blog today. I appreciate the time you took to stop by. May your day be filled with joy and peace.
    BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!

I'd really love hear what you think
