She sells sea shells … and a whole lot of other stuff too

Everywhere you go on the coast someone is making or selling something in order to make a living.  Early every morning you can see men and woman carrying heavy loads of wares to sell down at the beach and lugging it all up steep hills at the end of the day.

This post is a tribute to all of these people who think creatively and work so hard trying to put food on the tables of their families.

  1. Inspiring my friend. I grew up in the islands and have seen first hand how honest people work so hard so their families can eat thus it saddens me when people who have more abuse and take things for granted, worse when people who could work refused to and just rely on what the government could give. Integrity, honesty, hardwork are virtues that money can’t buy and when I see poor people trying their best, I am overwhelmed with a sense of respect for them.

I'd really love hear what you think
