Here a Hare, there a Hare, everywhere a Hare Hare

To all my Christian friends, I wish you a very special and meaningful Easter. May we remember that the real reason for this celebration is not chocolate bunnies and Easter eggs.

  1. Still trying to wrap my head around the Southern Hemisphere’s reverse seasons. It’s just wrong! Here Easter is tied to spring and rebirth — and the holiday flowers are tulips and daffodils and hyacinths and all those pretty pastels. What are Easter flowers down there? Orange chrysanthemums, yellow marigolds and pumpkins? Easter in the fall just doesn’t compute! 😉 Enjoy!

    1. Like Christmas in summer? I’ll have to go down to the local nursery and takes some pics, in order to answer your question. I’m rather ashamed to say I haven’t got a clue what our Autumn flowers are. Today I could definitely feel a change in the season – a reminder that winter is not that far away.

      1. Well I can always do with more summer. But Christmas in summer is weird. All the classic Christmas songs are like “Sleigh Ride” and “Winter Wonderland” (across the US… so they even play them in Florida, which never sees sleighs or snow.) It’s just crazy how living in a hemisphere — and its relation to calendar events — is so ingrained in you. So the opposite hemisphere just makes life seem upside down. I mean… snow in August? Madness!

  2. Cute photo and meaningful message! Onward! I sent some chocolate marshmellow eggs to my friend in Canada…she was delighted! I think we should be Happy Chocolate Christians! I see so much of the Crucified Jesus—I like to be a Resurrected Christian!

I'd really love hear what you think
